Delete your Bridging Phonics account

You can permanently delete your account in the app or request deletion by email if you can no longer sign in.

Delete your account in the app

Sign in to Bridging Phonics.
Open Profile.
Select Delete account.
Review the deletion summary and confirm.

Deletion is permanent. You will be signed out when it is complete.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your account. Use the subject “Bridging Phonics account deletion request” and tell us if you also want any identifiable generated exports remaining in our private storage deleted.

Request account deletion

We may ask you to verify control of the account email address before completing the request. We will never ask for your password.

What account deletion removes

Account deletion removes the active-service data associated with the account:

the authentication account and adult profile;
child profiles created by that account;
associated phonics progress, sessions and cohort membership;
progress judgements authored by that account; and
links to child profiles created by another authorised adult.

Files already downloaded or shared outside Bridging Phonics cannot be recalled. Purchase providers may retain transaction information where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention or other legal obligations. See the Bridging Phonics Privacy Policy for full retention information.

Delete selected data without deleting your account

You can remove some information while keeping your account:

To delete a child profile and its database-linked progress, sessions, cohort membership and judgement history, open the child profile in Bridging Phonics and select Delete child.
To request deletion of an identifiable generated export remaining in our private storage, email bridgingphonics@gmail.com from the address associated with your account.
For another specific data-deletion request, email us with the subject “Bridging Phonics data deletion request” and describe the information you want removed.

We may need to retain limited transaction, security or legal records for as long as the applicable law or provider requires. Files already downloaded or shared outside Bridging Phonics cannot be recalled.

Cancel a subscription separately
