Privacy Notice
feltPro does not collect, upload, store, or share files used in the browser-based spreadsheet tools. The conversion, VAT estimate, and spreadsheet review summary tools run locally in your browser.
Who This Notice Covers
This notice covers feltPro browser-based tools and the feltPro website. The tools are intended for business finance files, but files may still contain personal data such as sole trader names, payee names, or transaction descriptions.
What Data Is Processed
If you use a spreadsheet tool, your browser reads the file you choose so it can create a Xero-ready CSV, estimate recent income against the UK VAT registration threshold, or prepare a simple spreadsheet review summary export. The file may contain financial transaction data and payee names, but that data stays on your device.
The spreadsheet tools do not ask for your name, bank login, National Insurance number, VAT number, or tax reference. If you choose to use the VAT checker feedback form, feltPro receives the optional email address and feedback message you submit.
Do not upload files containing special category personal data, criminal offence data, or information that is not needed for the tool you are using.
Purpose And Lawful Basis
File processing happens in your browser so the tool can perform the task you requested. feltPro does not receive the uploaded file or its contents.
Where Plausible Analytics is loaded, it is used to understand aggregate site usage and improve the tools. The lawful basis for that limited site measurement is legitimate interests. Plausible does not use cookies, does not create advertising profiles, and does not collect spreadsheet contents.
VAT checker feedback submissions are used to understand interest in future reminder features and to reply about major updates where appropriate. The lawful basis for that feedback is consent because you choose whether to submit it.
Cookies And Tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies, browser storage, or persistent identifiers. It is not used to track people across websites.
Storage And Retention
The tools do not store your file on a server or in browser storage. Parsed rows only exist in the current browser page until you refresh, close the tab, or choose another file.
Third Parties
Spreadsheet contents are not sent to Monzo, Starling, Xero, HMRC, analytics providers, or any other third party by this site. If you click an external link, that destination site has its own privacy practices.
Plausible Analytics receives aggregate website usage events where its script is loaded. It does not receive spreadsheet contents, filenames, transaction descriptions, income totals, expense totals, or downloaded summary contents.
Your Rights
Because this site does not collect or retain your spreadsheet data, there is no server-side spreadsheet record for feltPro to access, correct, export, or delete.
